Barnet Vermont Poem

STANLEY FEFFERMAN

Evergreen hills
morning mist rising grey
dissolving into grey

Barn swallows flit
aim for inky-barn-light
and disappear

On a rock
behind the house
Buddha sits in plaster bliss
My solitude is broken
by your kiss
